It's quite simple, really -- the logo was scanned on a neato little hand scanner, and saved as a .TIF file to keep it tight. I then exported it as a really big .BMP and edited it painstakingly for several hours to clear out the trash. (That was fun, let me tell you.) Then, figuring not everyone has Windows, I figured that it would be swell of me to save it as a .GIF, as well. And it was swell of me to do so.
Now, I won't make you register for several reasons.
1. Nobody does anyway.
2. Who would pay for just a picture?
3. I'm not a member of ASP.
4. I'm just doing this for fun, anyway.
5. I put a shameless advertisement for my band in there.
Just WHO is Ransomed Soul?
Ransomed Soul is the band for which I play bass, sing, and play keyboards. And, as the main representative, it is part of my job to get people out to see us. A short description: We're a three piece, original hard rock outfit with powerful harmony vocals and a modern melodic sound. Whew! That's a mouthful.
Anyway, the poster is included, and the next few dates should be on the bottom. If you downloaded the Queensryche logo because you like the band Queensryche, you'll probably enjoy seeing RS perform -- we've been told that we often have traces of their sound in ours... and, admittedly, they're a big influence.
